About the song Burna Boy - Last Last

1. May I just appreciate that there is no ‘male gaze’. No naked women. Much appreciated and refreshing that it’s an authentic display of his life, depicted in his own house (not rented - not selling a lie to his audience, and having fun with his homies. His work is about the music, which is complete on its own not needing eye candy. Just fun and joy. Am addicted to his music. Only playlist on repeat all day.

2. I honestly think this is a masterpiece. I really feel the emotion and it’s generally well produced. The dialects and languages interact with each other quite smoothly. The production is banging. The video is simple but has so much meaning. This is perfect to me.

3. The reason I rate burna boy as number one in Nigeria is his ability to take risk,he makes songs that he likes and hope everyone else likes it also ,that's the mindset of a true artist, other artists tend to be too careful not to fuck up and end up being ok but not special, they care too much about what people think about their music, don't wanna call names but most of your favourite artists are guilty of this.A born artist like burna either give you a song you can't stand or a song you can't stop listening to but a mediocre artist plays it safe all the time ,they stay in the middle, this might be the most creative song I ve heard in a long long time, can't emphasise how deep this song is,this song!

4. Its songs like these and the tenacity of other wave making Nigerian artistes that makes one proud to be called a Nigerian. Now everybody wants to identify with Naija. Thank You Burna! Good time to be a Nigerian and Yoruba specifically as most of these hit songs are sung in that language.
