🇮🇹 🇳🇴 Alessandra Watle Mele, born on September 5, 2002, in Pietra Ligure, Savona, Italy, known simply as Alessandra, is an Italian-Norwegian singer. Her father is from Albenga, Italy, and her mother is from Stathelle, Norway. At the age of twelve, she won the fifth edition of VB Factor, a local talent show in the Val Bormida region. After graduating from high school in 2019, Alessandra moved to Norway, living with her grandparents in Porsgrunn and later studying at the Lillehammer Institute of Music Production and Industries.
In 2022, Alessandra participated in the seventh season of the Norwegian version of "The Voice – Norges beste stemme," where she joined coach Espen Lind's team after the Blind Auditions but was eliminated during the live shows.
In 2023, Alessandra represented Norway in the Eurovision Song Contest with her song "Queen of Kings," which finished in fifth place at the grand final, receiving 268 points. Her track reached number one in Norway and was a top-ten hit in eleven countries.
Alessandra also appeared as a duet partner with the Ghost on the fourth season of "Maskorama." In 2024, she was announced as Norway's spokesperson for the Eurovision Song Contest, but shortly after, she decided to step down from the role.
Alessandra's personal life includes her identification as bisexual and her past relationship with Ludwig Gassner.
