Jerry is a singer, songwriter, and composer from Punjab who defies being put into just one category. Born in Ludhiana in 1999, the artist is equally skilled at rapping on his own hip-hop tracks as he is creating singles that blend influences from R&B, pop, trap, and even jazz, while also showcasing his charismatic vocals and relatable lyrics. Since the release of his hard-bass, folk-influenced hit "Shareeke-Baazi" in 2020, featuring the renowned singer and songwriter Singga, Jerry's career has been on the rise. That same year, he dropped several singles, each positioning him at the crossroads of hip-hop and Punjabi pop.

2021 proved to be his breakthrough year, especially with "Casanova" — a smooth ballad built around a sweet folk hook. This success was followed by the emotionally charged viral hit "Mainu Nai Pehchaandi" and the silky "She’s The One", both collaborations with producer Devilo, as well as his debut album Stepping In, which blended Dr. Dre's style with West Coast sounds. In 2022 and 2023, Jerry continued to explore deeper, grittier aspects of the Punjabi music scene with singles that varied in style and depth, including the hip-hop super-hit "Showstopper".
