🇺🇸 Molly Santana, born Mya Mini in 2004, is a Japanese-American artist based in Los Angeles. She began her career as a streetwear influencer, gaining popularity on social media in 2019.
Her stage name originated from a party misunderstanding where people called her "Molly" instead of "Mya." She was also heavily into Glo Gang at the time, and she felt the name "Santana" added a dynamic energy to her alias.
Molly's debut single, "Y They Talk Abt Me?," was released in September 2021, followed by her first EP, "Molly’s World," in October of the same year. Her debut mixtape, "Neptune," was released in November 2022, and she followed it up with her second mixtape, "Mélange," in May 2023.
On April 12, 2024, she released her breakout single "Chain Swangin'," and her self-titled debut studio album came out on April 26 of the same year. The success of the album led to a record deal with Victor Victor in the summer of 2024.
